Who we are.
Charter & Compass was started by Jana Santoriello and her granddaughter Kendyl in Mowrystown, Ohio.
Jana grew up in a house where the pantry was always stocked and the toolbox was always full. Kendyl grew up wondering why no one taught those things anymore.
We built what we were looking for: a place that takes self-reliance seriously without selling you fear. Every product here is American-made. Every field manual is written plain.
